Category Archives: CelebritiesJust working on some images I took a little while ago and thought I would share this portrait, which I think pretty much sums-up a fine session with this interesting actor-director-author and star of one of my favourite British comedies – Withnail & I.
Vladimir Ashkenazy, one of the all time great conductors and pianists – still hugely active at 82. I felt very honoured to be able to take his portrait. Actually, I love this shot and the intensity of his eyes.  Vladimir Ashkenazy A great Booker prize-winning author and wonderful storyteller (his Mexican anecdotes are amazing) – and contrary to how this first shot looks he was really into the photo-shoot. A really nice guy.
