Jude and Peter’s Bonfire Wedding – Hove

Last week Picture Of Me had the great and fun pleasure to photograph the wedding of the utterly charming and delightful Jude and Peter at the Hove Club in Hove. Their Humanist ceremony was really emotional and the speeches were hilarious.

Late afternoon and together with a few guests we raced down to the beach to grab a few shots before the light faded completely; and as it was bonfire night we lit a few sparklers. In fact I loved the whole bonfire theme with the girls being called The Sparklers and boys called The Rockets -cool hey!

Just looking at these photographs now it is hard to believe that we started the beach shoot in fast approaching dusk and by the end it was pretty much pitch black outside – thank goodness for a steady hand and 21st century camera technology!

The Picture Of Me team were delighted to photograph the gorgeous wedding of Natalie and Tom last week, at Bartholomew Barn in Kirdford, West Sussex. After so much heavy rain and strong winds it was like a small miracle that it turned out to be a beautiful warm and sunny day – and what a great location. A totally nice and happy couple, with great fun guests and a lovely moving Humanist ceremony – all the best Nat and Tom. Here are just a few teasers…..

Barnsley House – A magical Cotswolds Wedding

This week Picture-Of-Me ventured out of Brighton in Sussex and was delighted to be the wedding photographer for the utterly fab Hana and Steve and their close family at the beautiful Barnsley House hotel in the Cotswolds (stunning place, wonderful staff). There was driving rain all day although amazingly it stopped for the 30 minutes of the ceremony – which took place in one of their ‘secret gardens’ in the grounds – lucky us and for the photography. Of course, being a wedding, the rain didn’t dampen any spirits – here are a few tasters with more coming.

Beautiful Vintage Wedding Photography Sussex

The Picture-Of-Me had a great time this week photographing the lovely wedding of the charming Jessica and James at Ringden Farm in Sussex. It was such a relaxed affair with all the amazing decorations handmade by Jessica, her family and friends. The weather was perfect, the location sublime, the food delicious!. We loved the vintage feel and we loved the apple juice – made on the farm. A big thanks to my photographer assistant Rory for helping out.

We also made a really fun PhotoBooth for all the guest – which went down a storm.

The POM team were delighted to have photographed the gorgeous, fun-loving and golf-mad Silke and Mickael at Castle Grünsberg in Southern Germany last weekend. After days of rain, and with typical ‘Picture Of Me’ good luck, the sun came out on the day and we found some great locations for the shots.

Klaus and I wish Silke and Michael tons of happiness for the future – and thanks for making being a wedding photographer such a huge pleasure! Here are just a few tasters for you.

Wedding Photography – Spring and Summer 2011

So time is racing towards Summer – here we are in May already!

April was pretty eventful for me with a large job for SkyOne TV and the Rival Media group, together with some amazing family photography work (images to follow, when I catch my breath)

There are still a few weekday and weekend dates available for weddings this Spring and Summer – although the Autumn is booking-up really quickly this year (are there more people doing autumn weddings this year?).
